Tech Team 101
Vision
At Frontline, our vision is to see Zero Lives Unchanged by Jesus. We view technical arts both as an art form that is worship unto the Lord and as a tool that can help point people to Jesus.
Values
We worship God in our lives and through our art. Before we can lead others in worship, we're called to be worshippers; not just on Sunday mornings, but in every aspect of our lives.
We lead others in worship. Our role is to point people to Jesus. Whether through crafting an audio mix that helps people sing boldly,
We work together as a team. We walk alongside, encourage, and support one another. We collaborate with each other on the tech team and we collaborate with the band, vocalists, and communicators.
Expectations
Zero Collective Worship Arts Commitments
1) Commitment to serving. “How can I help you?” No matter what we find in our hands to do, whether singing, playing an instrument, operating a camera, mixing audio, or anything in between, our first question to each other and to our church should be ‘how can I help you?’. I’m here to help you, not the other way around.
2) Commitment to Spiritual development. “Who am I following?” I am actively taking steps to know and follow Jesus. If I know and follow Jesus, I am growing in my relationship with Him (Galatians 5:16-25).
3) Commitment to humility. “How can I place the mission above myself?” Philippians 2:1-11 highlights this so well. It’s the ultimate example of willing submission to another without personal pride.
4) Commitment to ownership. “If this was ‘my problem’ what would I do differently?” We don’t just manage, but we own it. We bring solutions, not just problems. We fix things that are broken. We actively look for gaps and needs and fill them.
5) Commitment to excellence. “Is this my best?” Excellence isn’t perfection, but it is my best, and my best means always growing.
6) Commitment to learning. “How can I do this better?” When I’m actively looking for opportunities to learn and grow in every situation, constructive criticism doesn’t come as an attack on me as a person but an answer to the question I’ve been asking all along.
7) Commitment to being a team player. “Who can I include in this?” We all have a role to play and we are better together (1 Corinthians 12).
8) Commitment to multiplication. "Who am I pouring into?” We are always about raising up others to do what we do better than we do it.
9) Commitment to fun. “Do I take myself too seriously?” No explanation needed. Don’t forget to laugh! Church is to be enjoyed, not endured!
10) Commitment to the cause. “Am I all in?” I will support the Biblical foundations of The Zero Collective by affirming its core beliefs, values, and expectations as we seek to follow Christ.

Safeties - Aspects of each role that we view as bare minimum necessities in order to lead people in worship well or to cover organizational needs. We're all accountable for making sure that we hit our safeties each week.
Consistencies - Aspects of each role that we view as important landmarks for creating a consistent experience for our church. We're all responsible for growing towards hitting these consistencies on a weekly basis.
Freedoms - Aspects of each role in which you have space to express your own God-given creativity and artistry as you worship Him.
