Reserving Rooms (ZC Internal)

When planning a meeting or event, if you create an event in your Google Calendar, you will be able to reserve a room. If you do not see the room you'd like available. Check with your church's admin to see what your options are for rescheduling, using a different room, or other solutions.

How to Reserve a Room

  • Navigate to Calendar.Google.com and make sure are logged in with your Zero Collective issued email.
  • Create a new calendar event and as you are entering your title and time, click on the room option under the location option

  • After clicking rooms you'll be given an option for rooms you use frequently, or you can click "Browse all rooms and resources"
  • If you browse all rooms, click the carrot to show rooms at your church
  • You will be given a list of rooms with the capacity listed below the title, crossed out rooms at the bottom of the list are not available (booked in another calendar event)
    • If you need a room that is not listed as available, check with your church admin to figure out a solution

How to see Room Calendars

  • Navigate to calendars.google.com and log in with your ZC email.
  • On the left side scroll down until you see the heading for "Other Calendars" and Click the plus icon next to it.
  • Select Browse Resources and choose the drop down menu for your church.

    You can select the box to add a specific room calendar to your list of viewable calendars, or if you want to see the room's calendar just once, click on the eye icon on the item to open it in a new page.
